AFTERBURNER 4.0 README
This file outlines the version, general notes, system
requirements, known problems with workarounds, and
known problems without workarounds.
VERSION:
4.0 Macintosh
GENERAL NOTES:
Afterburner is a post-processor for Director movies that
compresses and prepares them for uploading to an HTTP
server from which they will be available to Internet
users. Uncompressed movies should be in .DIR or .DXR
format. After compression with Afterburner they will
be in .DCR format. HTTP servers should set the MIME-Type
for .DCR files to "application/x-director".
This is the first shipping version and has been renamed
from 1.0 to 4.0 due to its support of Director 4.0.4 movies.
